Spencer Pratt is running for mayor of Los Angeles and has publicly stated he will leave the city if he loses the race. The TMZ report covers his mayoral bid and the ultimatum he’s apparently issued to himself and the city of Los Angeles.

Not because he’s qualified. He’s not. The man spent the better part of a decade building a crystal empire and terrorizing Heidi Montag’s family on basic cable. But here’s what everyone acting shocked about this keeps missing: the man has a plan. Win, he runs the city. Loose, he leaves. That is more self-awareness and balls than every actual politician in California combined.
Spencer loses and he’s out of the CITY. Not even a concession speech. Just gone. Crystals packed into a U-Haul, Heidi in the passenger seat, off to Sedona or wherever.
I have watched career politicians fail upward for thirty years and none of them had the decency to threaten to leave. Spencer Pratt, villain of a reality show that aired on a channel that no longer exists, figured out the one thing voters actually want to hear. You got my Vote, Spencer.
