The Vampire Tour Lady Thinks They Were Real and I Believe Her

(BroBible)
A vampire tour guide in what appears to be New Orleans started noticing that some of her customers were asking unusually specific questions about vampire lore โ€” not curious tourist questions, but detailed, almost insider questions. She now believes some of them were actual vampires.

A vampire tour expert noticed her customers were asking suspiciously specific questions and has concluded they were probably vampires. That’s the story. That’s where we are.

And honestly โ€” I’m with her. Not because I’ve thought hard about this, but because the alternative is that a group of adults showed up to a vampire tour knowing a lot about vampires, which is somehow weirder.

The specific questions thing is actually pretty solid evidence. Tourists ask broad questions. “Are vampires real?” “Has anyone died here?” “Can I take a photo?” That’s the tourist portfolio. When somebody starts drilling down on lore specifics, that’s not curiosity. That’s a guy who can’t help himself at a party.

I’ve seen the same thing happen with tax attorneys at barbecues. You bring up the IRS once and suddenly there’s a man who knows too much, leaning in, asking things no civilian would think to ask. Is he a vampire? No. But he might as well be.

Anyway, this woman is certain and I’m not going to be the one to tell her she’s wrong. She’s the expert. She gives the tours. She’s logged the hours.

Say what you want but they’re real.
