People Are Delivery Smuggling In N Out and I Want In
By Scott Willson · 2026-10-07
Lynsi Snyder thinks the In N Out experience is the reason people love In N Out. It’s not. People love In N Out because it’s the best fast food burger in America, and on a hungover Sunday I don’t want an experience, I want a Double Double on my doorstep without talking to a single human being. I would pay a million dollars for that, and judging by this article, I’m not the only one.
What In N Out has done is basically bring back Prohibition. You ban something people want badly enough and they’ll find a way around it, every single time. Right now that’s a bunch of guys on Facebook Marketplace and an HVAC tech named Jesse who runs twenty burger drops a week on the side. The demand is obviously there and In N Out is just leaving the money on the table.
The newsroom that broke this story tried to place an order and got scammed out of $25 on Zelle. That’s what happens when there’s no real operation in place, just randoms on the internet you have to trust with your money.
So I’m going to build it. I’ve had this idea for years and with AI I can finally make the app happen. The only thing left is to name it, and right now I’m leaning toward Burgershiners. Lynsi can try to shut it down, but people want their burgers and somebody’s going to bring them.
P.S. In N Out has an all time jingle, and if you’re a fan of the site you know I love a good jingle. Play the music.
